How to overcome your lazy attitude and make yourself work

In this era of technology where the machines are making the life easier, latest technologies and gadget allow you to do your work with ease. But the advent of these technologies and some factors present in human being nature lead towards laziness.

Meeting your deadline in corporate field is always a big task and considered as image building factor. So the professionals are always trying to meet their deadlines.

Everything is working in a smooth way but suddenly you felled like you can’t work, your online to do list is increasing day by day, your work turns into a chore. In this article we will discuss how to overcome this attitude and how you can actually convert your negative attitude in to positive.
Neglecting some work because of wrong focal view

Promotion focus

It states that there are two ways to look at any task, one before starting you see it as a way to end up better off than you are now, it also called as accomplishment or achievement. While second point of view is that if I work regularly I will look amazing.

If we apply this study in working field, the person having the first view will feel motivated by the thought of making gains. Well, if you are scared you will screw up on the duty in question; this is not the focus for you. Nervousness undermines promotion motivation, leaving you less likely to take any action at all.

Solution

It is not a disease or no such thing which can’t be cure. Firstly you have to believe on your capabilities, and never feel demotivated. Rephrase you nerve as “yes I can do it”.

Imagine yourself at the stage when you complete that task. Like in football match the night beforefinal, the players imagine by keeping their eyes close that they won the trophy, they even start imagining the feeling of that time, this imagination will help them in getting more motivation level.

So whenever you feel demotivated, or you didn’t want to work, just imagine you at the point when you achieve that task. It will also help you if you want to achieve some goal, like if you want to become a footballer and Renaldo is your favorite footballer, just place his picture in front of your bed or places it anywhere on your wall, whenever you see the photo you will feel more motivated.


Avoid boring and unpleasant tasks

We often found our self saying that next time I will start working on this from the very first day. Different Studies and research show that people overestimate their capacity, and rely on it too often to keep them out of hot water.

Accept the thing that we have limited will power, and the statement “next time we will start from soon” is just for self satisfaction. On ground realities we are running from that task by phrasing that next time we will do this in much better way.

Solution
Instead of doing this, just make a plan to complete the task and in planning consider the limited will power factor, and try to make realistic and achievable plan
Conclusion

Never feel fear about the failure, always consider the factor that “winner never quit and quitter never wins”. Focus on your capabilities instead of limitation, plan to achieve your goals and be realistic.
